January 9

The International Trade Assistance Center (ITAC) at Wright State University, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will host their monthly Exporter Forum from 7:30am-9:00am at Rike Hall on the WSU campus.  This month’s topic will be International Legal Considerations.  Participants will have a chance to hear from a local international attorney on the legal aspects of exporting their products.  For more information and to register, please contact Alex Kohls at 614-633-6372.

The European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) will be hosting the Transatlantic Economic Outlook Summit in Erlanger, KY.  This event will feature Mr. Andreas Hoefert who is the Chief Global Economist at UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland).  For more information or to register, please visit www.europe-cincinnati.com/events.

The Columbus Council on World Affairs will be hosting the 2013 International Awards Ceremony in Columbus.  This is the Council’s premiere annual event in which they recognize the outstanding global contributions of local leaders and educators.  This year’s honoree is the City of Columbus which will be accepted by Mayor Michael Coleman.  To register, please visit here.
