Heartland has an immediate opening for a(n) Loan Systems Administrator located at our Corporate Center in Whitehall, Ohio. In this highly visible role you will be responsible for the effective operation and ongoing maintenance of the Bank’s commercial, agribusiness, and consumer loan origination, underwriting, and document preparation platform and ancillary systems. This role will perform all configuration and customizations to the loan systems and ensure the total platform is fully optimized. This position will serve as the business point of contact for the loan systems providing support to the lending segments (credit administration, commercial lending, agribusiness banking, consumer lending, commercial loan processing, and consumer loan processing). This role will ensure the loan systems meet the overall technical, compliance and business requirements of the Bank.

A typical day might include the following:

  • System Administration | Serve as the main point of contact for all loan system issues, monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and system integrity, manage the administrative control centers for each module, perform regular administrative system maintenance tasks, monitor system release notes and bulletins, and ensure continuous improvement through regular upgrades and releases
  • Business Configuration & Customizations- Production | Implement loan system improvements by configuring or customizing system applications and modules. Ensure system solutions implemented are tailored to meet the Bank’s business needs and requirements.
  • Business Configuration & Customizations - Test | Follow project management test plans ensuring both positive and negative testing, provide test documentation, and follow project management validation plans ensuring regression testing and overall quality of the system
  • Day-to-Day User Support & Issue Tracking | Provide daily user system support to address user errors, troubleshoot system errors, and support users to limit/reduce business disruption. Ensure loan system issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner by following Project Management Office Issue Tracking procedures; assist with training end users to efficiently utilize the loan systems
  • Manage Vendor Cases | Develop working relationships with support department at Finastra and other applicable vendors; submit and manage vendor cases as needed
  • Collaborate with IT Team | Serve as the business point of contact for the IT Team, coordinate quarterly system upgrades and releases with IT; manage all user profiles, groups, and permissions in partnership with IT; collaborate with IT Team to complete any business configuration changes requiring server updates
  • Partner with PMO Team | Work closely with the Project Management Office’s Business Process Analyst and Project Managers to implement identified business process improvements and loan system enhancements
  • Reporting | Collaborate with user segments to ensure adequate system reporting, data collection and operational dashboards are provided for management use. Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce support data/reports.
  • Subject Matter Expertise | Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of requirements, features, and functionality of the systems and applications utilized by credit administration, commercial lending, agribusiness banking, consumer lending, commercial loan processing, and consumer loan processing
  • Manage competing resources and priorities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, information technology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in (1 at minimum):
    1. System administration of Finastra Total Lending Premium Platform modules (LaserPro, CreditQuest, DecisionPro, Mortgagebot, and/or Consumerbot)
    2. Bank lending origination, underwriting, and document preparation processes and workflows (commercial, agribusiness, consumer), and related systems and operations

Computer/Software Competencies

  • Fiserv Premier, Director, Business Analytics and related systems
  • Microsoft O365 SharePoint and Teams
  • Finastra LaserPro, CreditQuest, DecisionPro, Mortgagebot, and Consumerbot
